There are 3 exhibitions at the RWA in Bristol (top of Park Street) that I'm looking forward to going to, a real treat that they are all on together. Do go if you can.
Going Modern / Being British is an exhibition of paintings by Eric Ravilious, a rare chance to see a quantity of his work shown together outside London.
Pick Up A Penguin charts the story of Penguin books, which started in Bristol in 1935 and uses material from the University of Bristol Penguin Archive.
Beautiful World is an exhibition of wood engravings by the late Peter Reddick, who was a well-known and much loved artist and illustrator, producing a huge amount of work for the Folio Society. He was a friend and helped me find my feet when I left art college, always incredibly kind, generous and supportive to younger artists.
More information on the RWA website.
