Print websites

As this is a blog, it seems churlish not to use it to link directly to some good websites.  I will add to this list as I go, and please forward any sites you rate to me by leaving a comment at the end of this posting.

If you are interested in photography and photo-gravure, the V&A Museum has a good basic introduction to different methods and examples from their collections.  There is a print study centre at the museum, see website for details.

This website, "Art of the Photogravure" is a good historical guide and includes a section on contemporary photogravure.

Crown Point Press is one of the major printmaking studios in America. It has a guide to all the different printmaking techniques, and an index of the artists who have made prints at the studio, with notes on how each print was made.
